If you want to see the Desktop version of your facebook through your mobile, say iPhone (usually if you access facebook.com from a mobile device, facebook itself do a redirect to m.facebook.com or touch.facebook.com mobile sites)
Facebook Tab for Redirect user from fb Fan page to another Web site
This is going to be the gateway to your app. Mobile users arriving on this page will be redirected to the mobile website. You can use javascript to redirect desktop users to your Facebook Page Tab App.
Note the "top.location" - this will redirect the parent window, not just the iframe to the page tab. When a user arrives on the canvas page in a desktop browser, they will be redirected via JavaScript to your Page Tab App. Mobile users will be redirected by Facebook to the Mobile Site Url you specified above.
If your app is in Sandbox Mode, only admins, developers or testers of the app will be able to see it. In particular users not logged into Facebook, or who are logged into Facebook but are not admins or testers of the app, will not be able to access the app canvas page - they will just see a 404 error. In order to test your mobile redirect when the app is in sandbox mode, you need to ensure that you are an an admin, developer or tester of the app AND you are logged into Facebook's mobile site on your phone's web browser - i.e. Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android. It is not sufficient to be signed into the Facebook Mobile App on your phone, you must also be logged in using the browser.
Now, all you have to do is to use the Canvas Page url that Facebook provides you (under App on Facebook). If people click on it and are on desktop, they will be redirected into the page tab. If they are on mobile, they will be redirected to your website hosting the page tab.
One of the most common ways of complying with privacy laws and getting your Privacy Policy URL out to the public is by placing it in your website's footer. People know to look here since it's such a common business practice, and it's typically available from any and all of your site's pages for easy access.
You should consider adding a URL to your Privacy Policy to anywhere on your site where you collect personal information. This can include ecommerce components such as a checkout page, where you collect phone numbers for text message news and updates, on an interactive forum where users can post comments and content and other similar places.
If you have an ecommerce website or mobile app, you need to display a Privacy Policy URL. All of the above guidance still stands. There's just one additional thing to do: Make sure your Privacy Policy URL is displayed somewhere on the checkout page before a user completes an order.
Don't forget that because you collect personal information from Facebook users, you're not only required to have this legal agreement for your Facebook app, but also have it for your website, mobile app, and so on.
When a user clicks on the Twitter icon, the authorization page opens, and Product Hunt's Privacy Policy URL is displayed in the upper right near the company's logo, main website URL and Terms agreement:
However, the attack does not end there. Using the location.href property, the user is redirected to a supposed two-factor authentication page with a count-down timer. It is asking for a 6-digit One-Time Password (OTP) to be sent to the user. One-Time Passwords can be sent to a user through different channels, including a Short Message Service (SMS) text, an email, or a dedicated application. Since the email address, password and mobile number were collected from the user before, a subsequent 2-FA page is shown to continue this deception. This may makes sense to the victim as it is now common practice to have another layer of authentication after providing such credentials.
At the time of writing, the fake Facebook Support page and the phishing website have been taken down, but there is no reason to believe another threat actor might not use the same tactic in the future.
When it comes to Facebook customer support solutions, you can use one of two installation options. Or you can resign from a customer chat plugin on your website altogether and just use the default Facebook page.
A Facebook QR Code allows you to redirect users to your Facebook page to like or follow your business. While Facebook provides a default option, you can still use a QR Code solution to create customized landing pages to drive traffic to your Facebook profile or page.
FBP's hide popup notifications option only works on the notifications that popup in the bottom left corner when you are actually on the Facebook website. The notifications that popup in the bottom right side of your browser whether you have facebook open or not cannot be blocked by FBP, you need to turn those off either in Facebook's Notifications settings page or in your browser itself. They are called "Push Notifications". To turn them off on Facebooks Notifications Settings screen, check out this screenshot that explains how to do it. To turn them off in Google Chrome, check out this screenshot that explains how to do it. There is also another new form of popup notifications too, they appear as a popup tab featuring comment notifications that appear at the bottom of the facebook page, looking a bit like chat windows, you can turn them off in Facebook's Chat options, to do this tick the "Turn off Post Tabs" option. (Please note that in the new Facebook design the "Post Tabs" have been renamed to "Chat Tabs") 2ff7e9595c
